Tip24: Don’t use flash. I know it looks great on your website and everyone loves it, but email clients don’t render flash.

Tip23: Don’t use forms in your email. If you need a form, send the reader to a landing page. Email clients won’t render forms.

Tip21: Use standard fonts like Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana, and Tahoma. Your fancy font might not exist on your readers computer.
Tip20: Keep your message size around 40 – 50KB, this will ensure it doesn’t get filtered out due to size restrictions.
Tip19: Don’t cram your content. Create landing pages for more detailed content and links to those pages from within your email.
Tip18: Keep email designs to 500 – 650 pixels wide. This will avoid a horizontal scroll bar, which people hate.
